I have been drawing for as long as I
can remember. There wasn't a surface
in the house my ink-covered fingers
couldn't decorate. I would copy my
favorite illustrations from storybooks:
fantastical images of fairies, dragons,
and mermaids. Soon, I was introduced
to the computer as a source of
creating art. My very first program
was Corel Painter Classic, and all I had
was a mouse. Then I graduated to my
beloved Wacom tablet, and from then
on we became best friends. Before I
was in high school I was using
photoshop. At first it was just to color
my line art, but soon I started
creating art in the program from start
to finish. This is still my favorite
method, but a pencil on paper is still
